Alábbiakban olvasható a Holland Királyság Nagykövetségétől érkezett információs anyag a közelgő Brexitre való felkészüléshez. Célja azon szállítmányozók/fuvarozók tájékoztatása a 2021. január elsejétől érvénybe lépő változásokról, akik holland kikötőkön keresztül szeretnének árut szállítani az Egyesült Királyságba, illetve onnét Magyarországra.
A vámdokumentumokhoz regisztráció szükséges a “Portbase” rendszerbe - amely egy digitális kommunikációs rendszer az 5 holland terminál között - ami egyszeri díj befizetésével jár, ezután a használata ingyenes és gyors árutovábbítást tesz lehetővé.

Get ready for Brexit
A major change is coming. On 31 December 2020 the Brexit transition period will end, along with the United Kingdom’s participation in the EU common market. Everyone – both businesses and the public – will face new procedures in the United Kingdom and in the rest of Europe, including new customs and border procedures.
Seaports in the Netherlands, Belgium and France are the gateway to Europe for any sea freight travelling to and from the UK, or through it to Ireland. It is therefore essential for all stakeholders in the integrated supply chains across Europe to prepare for the new situation. For transport via the Netherlands, this means registering with ‘Portbase’, the digital port community system, which will ensure the smooth flow of traffic and goods through any of the five Dutch ferry terminals. Portbase, a non-profit entity, was set up by the private sector in the Netherlands in close cooperation with Dutch Customs, SPS and infrastructure authorities. After paying a one-off registration fee, use of the system is free. Companies shipping goods through a Dutch port should arrange for partners in their logistical chain to register their freight in the Portbase system.
The Netherlands is working closely with ferry companies, terminals and port authorities, and is committed to ensuring ongoing smooth traffic to and from the UK. However, all change brings new challenges, so some disruptions may occur. The Dutch government is ready, and preparations have been made, including in traffic management systems, to prevent serious traffic congestion in port areas.
